Thoughts on 2023 Iowa Young Republican Endorsement for a National Young Republican Ticket
During the July 23, 2023, Iowa Federation of Young Republicans (IFYR) Central Committee meeting, the IFYR Central Committee met and discussed with the Chair candidates for both known slates. While there are potential drawbacks to committing to an endorsement, the advantages appear to outweigh those drawbacks. As such, on July 23, 2023, during the Central Committee meeting of the Iowa Federation of Young Republicans (IFYR), I voted first in favor of an endorsement and second in favor of an endorsement for the GrowYR slate of candidates.
